It sounds like time to make a change out to another brand I prefer the Allen-Bradley line but there is many out there you could choose from. But even though I prefer the Allen-Bradley line they too have obsolete equipment such as SLC 100 and SLC 150 they were easy to work with and rather inexpensive but getting parts now is difficult so make sure you get something that will be around for awhile.

Hello,

If you still have those WDP5-118 I'm intersted in buying them.

The Berger Lahr WDP5-118 product does not have to be programmed with the Sharp hand-held PC.

Many years ago Berger Lahr developed PC based software for programming these drives.

The software has been available for many years, so long ago that it is DOS based. However, it will operate from a windows 3.11, windows 95, or windows 98 based PC.

The software is know as Bpro/PC1 and is freely available from Berger Lahr.

However, Schneider Electric had purchased Berger Lahr over 7 years ago and Berger Lahr is quickly vanishing along with many of it's representatives. In fact, Berger lahr in Germany has even been renamed to Schneider Motion GMBH.

That being said, finding someone to supply this old software may be difficult.

I have worked as the sole service tech for Berger Lahr for over 12 years and can help with any and all Berger Lahr related support issues.  I have been factory trained at Berger Lahr in Germany and I know every product they ever produced. Every one!

I stumbled across this post while poking around on the internet and found this worth replying to.

Feel free to contact me regarding this or any topic related to Berger Lahr products.

Make sure to include Berger Lahr in the subject so I don't dismiss the message as Spam.  meritman@comcast.net

This software (Bpro3) can be applied to the WDP3-01x?

And where I can find the standard software (firmware from BERGER LAHR) for WDP3-01x?

Thanks
