Hi everybody, I wish to know your Technical views on how bad it is to daily test a standby generator, of the capacity of 300kVA , off load for 15 minutes. This generator is used only when there is a 'rare' power cut from the supplier.

its very gud habit to check run the genrator for weekly. as any electrical equipments are not chrged for long time there is a chance to fail. so nothing bad in tht
in view of technical. only thing ur telling daily it may be waste of fuel.
